Legacy giving offers parishioners and others a special way to extend their faith and stewardship beyond their lifetime. Giving Through Your Will or Estate
Bequests
To leave a specific amount, percentage, or remainder of your estate to St. Ann Catholic Church or School through a gift in your will or trust, the wording should be as follows:
- For the parish or school: “Michael T. Martin, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte, or his Successors in Office for St. Ann Catholic Church, Charlotte” or for “St. Ann Catholic School, Charlotte.”
Beneficiary Designations
Name St. Ann Catholic Church or School as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts (IRA/401k), life insurance, or investment accounts by contacting your plan administrator.
Gifts of Appreciated Assets
Donating stocks, bonds, or property provides tax benefits while supporting the future of St. Ann Catholic Church or School.
Endowment Funds
An Enduring Gift
By funding or establishing an endowment, you ensure St. Ann’s long-term financial health. Endowments preserve the principal amount, which is invested to generate a stable, lasting source of income for our parish and school. Our current endowments are:
- St. Ann Catholic Church Endowment Fund: Supports the general needs of our parish, allowing funds to go where they’re needed most.
- St. Ann School Endowment Fund: Provides essential support to our school, helping meet the needs of our students and facilities.
